Missing chopper found crew safe in the mountains. — Report from helicopter crews that spotted choppers in the area are still on the ground. — Crew members say they think they can rescue the pilot.

It’s not clear what exactly killed the aircraft but it looks like the pilot is at risk because of the severity of the damage.
No reports of wreckage or any injuries from the crash are being seen by press or residents near where the chopper went down in Santa Clarita.
On Tuesday morning about five helicopters, a chopper and several motorcycles were seen flying low over the area where the accident occurred.

«They were flying a lot south. We could see it,» said John Belden of the county fire department.
One of the helicopters was said to be a B-52 based out of the Air Force Base in San Diego, but Belden did not have any details.
Another helicopter was heading the same direction to pick up people trapped in the mountains. That helicopter was reported to be an AC-130 gunship.
Bridgett and her daughter, Lani Bridgette, saw the chopper crash near the San Diego International Airport in Long Beach.
«We went back out there to see if anyone was in there,» Bridgette said. «A helicopter, that’s the only sound in it.»
The aircraft did not appear to have a navigational map on board or even any other type of radio communications.
«As I went to get my daughter, I saw that the two people in the plane, who were the people with their families, had been rescued,» Bridgette said.
«You could just tell there were three people who were OK, alive and still standing,» she said.
«Then the helicopter, it’s a very sad day that it all happened at the same time,» she added. «You never want to see something like that happen.»
Bridgett says this is the first crash she’s seen like this in her life.
